Moods are so beautiful.
I imagine for many of you successful Goddesses the above statement causes confusion and dissonance. We live in such a default state of urgency, programmed to close the door on certain pathways of emotion that will “waste time.”
One of the “methods” of successfully navigating the Aquarian Age according to Yogi Bhajan is to—Recognize the Other Person, is You. Recognition happens via a establishing a vibrational relationship of resonance. How do we resonate with others? How do we, without saying anything, let others know that any mood they have, is welcome, relatable and that they are so loved? This moody New Moon Scorpio is a moment to let go of the paradigms that we are too busy to feel, and refrain from inadvertently telling others with our energy field to hurry up and get over it because your feelings are too much work really relate to.
Within all of us lie channels that can be opened up ready to resonate via the tools of mantra, movement, meditation and breathwork. These portals, when tuned can then be plucked when we come into contact with other Souls, creating a feeling of acceptance and Oneness—what Guru Nanak described as Ek Onkar, creating a sustainable experience of bliss. The yogis identified 108 of these portals:
Body, Mind, Soul,
The Five Drivers: Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachment, and Ego
The Five Senses
The 22 Emotions
12 Primary Feelings
…and before any of them, there is the first portal to Universal Consciousness, the portal of anahat or unstruck sound.
Resonance and its power of healing is one I have experienced firsthand in recovery. The magic of recovery happens when one alcoholic talks to another alcoholic. That’s it. They recognize that even if they are a different, gender, age, or from different cultures, they still have the same disease. And they start to lose their obsession with drinking the more they relate to each other. Guru Nanak wrote, through remaining silent, inner silence is not obtained. Meaning, it is only when we match the fluctuations of the mind with equally steady vibrations of authentic energy will the mind become quiet—even from the obsession of drinking.
Paramahansa Yogananda told a story once about how he was on a plane heading to the East Coast wearing his robes and a big movie star was scowling at him, facing him in the first class section. He, of course, charmed his way into a conversation with the movie star. He told him, you think I’m crazy. But we are all crazy. If we are the same crazy, we are friends. If we are different crazy, then we are here to test each other. The tension dissolved, and energy became friendly.
I created this New Moon Scorpio practice to open the 108 portals, even the ones that have been closed through years of neglect. Even in our closest relationships, we may not even realize how we shut down opportunities to be One Soul because we think we don’t have time to hear the sound of another’s senses, moods, and emotions. Practice this class as many times as you want this Lunar Cycle (through December 7*), and let’s create a Revolution of Resonance and…LOVE, k?
For those keeping up with the Venus Retrograde breath, please continue through November 16. That marks the end of your 40-day journey with the practice! Let me know how it goes. And, oh yeah, then get ready for Mercury to go retrograde the following day. Don’t worry…there’s a meditation for that! 😉
Happy New Moon, you beautiful, moody Goddesses.
P.S. I will be posting a free 11.11 meditation on Sunday on my closed Facebook group, Kundalini with Sheel. If you would like to join my closed Facebook group please send me a message on Facebook and let me know what you hope to gain from the community experience, along with a friend request. (Open to women only…for now.)
When you will be half insane you will not listen. When you will be ¾ insane you will take ¾ power not to listen. When you will be totally insane, you will totally not listen. Sanity and “listening” have 100% proportion. YB
Please read: This New Moon Scorpio practice is not suitable for those Goddesses that are pregnant—although you can feel free to listen to the mantra and visualize the breathing practices and connect with our community energy. Always check with your physician before practicing with me. I am not a doctor. All of the assertions based on wellness or health are rooted in my understanding of yogic technology and my own experiences.
